USB cord - intermittent connection to computer?

My wall charger works fine, but when I remove the cord and plug the X into my computer (to transfer photos or whatever) sometimes it connects, sometimes not. Usually not. It's frustrating, and I don't know if I should contact VW for a new charger or usb cord....it's always possible that it's something I'm doing wrong, but I don't see how - I'm just plugging it in, after all :-/

Hi To solve this problem turn the phone off, then turn the phone on. You shouldn't have to do it, but it works, and I'm happy. Should have searched first. My bad.:blink:
