Hi all, I have a problem not unlike others here.
My family has an Unlimited Plan with 700 minutes for 3 phones. My parents and me are all eligible for upgrade. My sister was supposed to have her own line, but has gone some plan changes without her or our knowledge or volition (unlimited talk and text with 2GB data, to having to share our minutes, leaving her with unlimited text only and an incident with the bill).
I've been wondering whether buying new phones full retail or getting new contracts is a better value. Is my family even capable of keeping our grandfathered plan? How do we go about it, if so? I've heard of phone/line switching, but I don't know if it applies to us. I've also been thinking of calling Verizon but I've heard so many stories of incompetent or deceptive service from other customers that it doesn't seem worthwhile.
