That is how I did it - way back...strange you are having this issue with both recoveries

- you could always SBF - reroot and restore your backup

would that cause me to lose everything? and not familiar with how to do this operation

If you have a good back-up then you could simply restore it and be right back to where you are but with a recovery -

But I cannot get into any recovery mode to restore a back up...

I mean after flashing the SBF and rerooting - then you could go into recovery and flash your previous backup

Well...right now I just did this...

Reflashed an older version of CW

ANd now Im restoring and older backup, hopefully after this restore, I will regain the power to flash a new ROM

So after flashing an older version of CW you were able to boot into recovery ?

I use CW but not ROM Manager (although I have purchased it) it seems problematic - anything I do concerning CW happens via recovery

yea man... no idea why. I wish I would have tried to see if backing up my current state would have worked first before losing everything data wise haha. But if this works, ill be happy haha
