Typing problem

I was typing earlier on the web on my Droid when the blinking thing went away. I don't know what it's called, that blinking line that shows where your next letter will show up. Sorry, I know that was a crappy explanation. Anyways, I turned my phone off for the night and when I woke up, it was back, but then went away again. How do I stop it from going away?

does it 'go away' when you're say, on Droidforums.net and replying to a thread? Mine does too... don't know why... never considered it an issue. Not sure there is a 'way to get it back'. Just the way the phone functions I believe.

no idea on the root of the problem but the word you're looking for is caret or cursor.
