Turning off droidforums email notifications?

I just signed up today and keep getting these annoying emails. I have tapatalk so I can easily stay up to date on my forums...but I keep getting these emails and can't figure out how to shut em off. I did a quick search and all results were related to phones and not this site. Any help is appreciated. Thanks is advance

In the top left of this page, under your user name , hit Settings. Then check the boxes to the right of each post, go to the bottom to the Selected Threads box and hit that for more options. Then go to General Settings on the left, then Default Thread Subscription Mode. Change that so you dont get anymore.
