Trouble downloading roms...

I recently updated to .902 and have been running stock rooted. Now I want to try an ICS ROM but am having trouble downloading the .zip file. When I download a small file it works fine, but on a big file like a ROM it immediately says "download unsuccessful." I have tried downloading various roms with the same error. Any ideas? I cleared the data on the downloads app but that did nothing. I'm sick of this stock ROM!

Use Opera Browser to download or I always use an app called Faster Downloads as a download client.

was having that issue but was too lazy to look it up
so just did straight from PC

The stock browser doesn't allow large files to be downloaded. I use dolphin mini.
