I have run 2 alpha ROMs, so the support is there. The Devs are working their butts off to get stuff out to the public.

VERY basic for now, but the sense OS is good enough standalone IMO.

Get the phone...the devs will have stuff out in due time.

What makes it better than the DX though?

I just went from the DX to the TB and loved the DX.

Basically every aspect of the TB is better than my old X except battery life.

All hardware aside, it has an unlocked bootloader. There will be way more ROM's available for it, and they will be full ROM's not just a glorified theme. Plus with a locked bootloader like the DX, you cannot upgrade to the next version of android until they release something from Moto, then the developers have to work with what they get.

Is it worth the switch? That is an understatement!

me too man, I was in the same boat...love motorola phones, certainly leary of htc...but the good thing about android is, when you can root, and remove htc sense alltogether, it's basically the smae software with rockin' new hardware dancedroid

Only complaints so far:

1: Battery door is ridiculous to get off, already got a small gouge on the phone from prying it open.

2: Signal is worse, usually 1-2 bars lower than my D1 or DX was. Although it still has no reception issues, i can still make calls and transfer data just fine.
