best rom for thunderbolt

I liked alot of the roms for the droid1. Is it as easy to root the thunderbolt and are there any roms like ultimate droid or simply stunning for the thunderbolt yet?

Yes, its easy to root the TB. And as far as AOSP roms....There r a few, liquid has one, CM is still working on one. The issue is data...they haven't got the RIL fully working all the time. It's close though, hopefully a week or 2 and we will get some AOSP goodness

Cyanogenmod 7 if u want AOSP...the latest release is super stable...and I'd go with BAMF sense 3.0 if u want a sense ROM...synergy Rom is a great one too

Personal preference really.

A lot depends on how your particular phone works (especially with kernals)

I have tried a lot a d can't get over how amazing bamph is. It is so smooth and fast and I love its style I'd give it a try.

For me none of the aosp ROM's work very well (yet) I get so many force closes that they are simply unusable.

But the sense ROM's work great on my phone, BAMF's are really good and right now I'm loving 3DKobes3D Sense 3.0

Lots of goodies, very smooth and great battery life if you switch to the 2.3 dream kernel. Connectivity is a lot better too I've tried almost every tb ROM now and find chingy51o to be the most dedicated and knowledgeable dev in making ROMs
