Hello to all, I'm brucebanner77. I reside in E. TX, by way of LA and MI. My first smartphone was a BlackBerry Curve, then a DROID X2 (my first rooted device) and now I have a S3. Well, I've had my S3 since it debuted and the time has come to come back home to Moto. So I'm hear to get opinions, facts, and stats. I drive trucks and get off the beaten path quite often. And that's where my s3 struggles at, phone signal, data signal, and battery. So far I'm leaning towards a DROID Maxx. But the Ultra and Moto X are intriguing as well. So any info, experiences and more are welcomed!

Yeah but 3 even specs are poor on new one.. I think the X will be better for your needs with all the voice commands

I don't use voice. What grabbed me about the maxx was 32gb, and the huge battery. Those are both the largest of the 3 (the maxx, X, and ultra) I looked on Verizon site and chatted with a rep and they said the other 2 don't have 32gb option. None have SD, so I need storage.

No SD is why I won't get any of them. I'll go with a note 3 or wait for the note 4. I won't go without an external storage or 64 GB of internal, which no one is offering.

It's very slow doing anything. Even just opening apps or swiping between screens, vibrate is very weak. She also has signal issues in places I get great signal hers goes in and out.

Wow! What's the model number on her device? Maybe they have actually changed nomenclature.

Oh OK. Yeah, I think since Moto X has arrived they have shared some of that technology with their sister phones.
