If you were looking for a good reason to buy an LG G5 I may have found one for you! The LG G5 is now supported by LG's Official Bootloader Unlock tool! For now this is only available for the European H850 variant. You will need to obtain your device's ID and use it to unlock the bootloader on LG's developer site.
The process is not overly complicated and anyone who can follow directions can have bootloader unlock on their LG G5, however this is not as simple as unlocking the bootloader on a Nexus device. Head to the link below for a full in depth guide.
