For fans of LG who happen to be on T-Mobile and like to tinker around on their devices, you might be happy to learn that the T-Mo's LG G5 will have an unlockable bootloader! Obviously there are still other issues which will need to be overcome before it is a completely moddable device, but those hurdles are quite a bit easier than a locked bootloader.

At least T-Mobile is willing to be a bit more developer friendly with their devices. Sound off if you plan on doing an custom work on your G5!

All one needs is an update file and then it starts.

This really isn't anything new. Most of T-Mobile's devices over the years have been easily rootable....even their Samsung variants up until & including the S6/S6 Edge. Unfortunately their S7s bootloader is currently locked, but developers & even TMo's CEO are working to resolve this.
Nice to see LG making their latest flagship developer friendly.
