mine did this one day..i could actually feel the back of the phone getting warmer..and it did say that all the usage was going to the "android apps"..i just restarted the phone and it seemed to fix it..not sure what caused it tho..gonna have to just keep an eye on it as the battery life has been really good so far especially with the exended battery.
