Stock ROM not displaying Verizon Logo

I am running 4.5.605 stock rooted and the Verizon text is not being displayed in the notification pulldown. Anyone know what may cause this as it appears to be affecting which market applications I can access....see image

I can only assume it's because my device is unlocked. Verification would be nice though.

by unlocked you mean you have worked around the boot loader

and no i have had my X at rooted stock on froyo and gb multiple times and never seen this

Had same problem. Missed final step after sbf. Factory reset required
Or buy rom tool box and change.

It's been reset, I am now running Cyanogen Mod and its still the same.
