Sprint users with the Moto X will soon get the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update. It started rolling out yesterday. Not only does this update include all of the tasty goodness of KitKat, it also manages to squash some bugs and add a few other things as well.

Here's a breakdown:

  • Printing documents and pictures - Added support for printing photos, Google Docs, GMail messages, and other content via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and hosted services like Google Cloud Print and HP ePrinters.
  • Improved battery life - Fixed bugs which caused a small number of users to experience shorter battery life after upgrading to Android 4.4.
  • Fixed email sync delays - Fixed a bug that could cause email services like Microsoft Exchange to experience intermittent delays in data synchronization.
Not bad Sprint! As it turns out, nearly every carrier with the Moto X has received the 4.4.2 KitKat update for their device. Ironically, the only one left without it is the first carrier to get the Moto X... AT&T. Time to get in action Ma Bell!
