slowness on Droid

My Droid seems to be exceptionally slow these days. What should i look for to speed it up?

Sbf it back to stock if you are rooted, it turns out recoveries leave a lot of extra junk in there so sbfing back to stock and rerooting does wonders! and if you use gingerbread I really don't know what to tell you i'm currently torn between froyo and gingerbread
