Slow phone

Have had droid3 about a month now.coming. from a droid a855,this new droid seems to be slow on homescreen,downloading,opening apps and especially working with the new strange camera. Also what is with all the adds and litttle pop up videos everywhere? Would there be anyway to shut them off? Any tips would be appreciated.

Not getting ads and pop-ups. If I had to bet, Id say the phone is slow because of what you have on it and how you're using it. The Camera is certainly slow and needs major work though.

I think the best step for someone with you're issues is to do a factory reset and not let the applications be synched. If you're not using Launcher Pro, Go Launcher, or one of the other good launchers out there, that would be a good next step, but I would add apps back slowly--one at a time--to see which is causing the slowness and the pop-ups. Just make sure you know your google password first.
