'Go big or go home' is the message Samsung is serving today with the announcement of the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2. For the spec fans the Galaxy Grand 2 will not knock your socks off, but it's a pretty decent mid-tier offering. The Galaxy Grand 2 is sporting a whopping 5.25-inch HD display (1280 x 720) with a 16:9 aspect ratio, Quad-Core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 1.5GB RAM, and a 2,600 mAh battery that will net you 17 hours of talk time on a single charge according to Samsung. The rear-facing camera comes in at 8-megapixels, with onboard storage at an anemic 8GB. Yes, there is microSD support (up to 64GB).

The phone’s dual-SIM capability lets you switch between different carriers, but the Galaxy Grand 2 isn’t 4G LTE-compatible ( only HSPA+). The Galaxy Grand 2 will ship with Android 4.3 and be available in white, black, and pink. Samsung did not announce specific launch dates, market availability, or pricing details. You now know what we know. We'll keep everyone up to date if they decide to pack the Grand 2 with 4G LTE compatible radios. Any takers if it was 4G LTE compatible?

Why is Samsung flooding the market with Android phones? It's like it almost cheapens their brand.

How many Samsung Galaxy phones are there? Too numerous to answer but just for the S4 Line:
Galaxy S4
Galaxy S4 Active
Galaxy S4 Zoom
Galaxy S4 Mini

Will flooding the market eventually lead to Samsung's demise? The one reason why I don't want another Samsung phone is because that's what everyone else has.

When LG saturated the market with dumbphones it sort of hurt their brand but didn't lead to their demise. What hurt them most was their lack of supporting their devices and falling behind in the spec war. My best example was the Dare. They basically abandoned it just after release and that made it become a just another model that never reached its potential.
