Rooted Phone and Stock updates?

    can a rooted phone still get updates from verzion or in this case motorola? for instance the bionic comes with version 2.3.4 say they come out with 2.3.5 for instance, can a rooted phone still get this update with out any trouble? thanks.

    Once you root you cannot install the updates directly from Verizon

    can you unroot then install then root it again with the new update still intact?

    ^ Sometimes you can and sometimes the update fixes the the exploit so the phone can no longer be rooted. I'm hoping some dev's get this phone so we can just flash pre-rooted updates like on the DX.

    does that mean that i can manually update if i rooted my phone?
