rooted incredible

i just rooted my incredible and for some reason my laptop will not connect to the wifi. my i pod does and my girlfriends comp will but mine wont, any suggestions? thanks

Have you tried restarting your computer? (usually that fixes it)

If not, try updating your network card's drivers.

well thank you for the help but i tried to connect with my dell xps which is brand new i had it built and it wouldnt connect either, they will connect to all other neworks but the incredible... im confused
well for some reason when the security encryption is on i cant connect but when it is off i can?
