Can someone please help me root my droid 2? I really want to be able to brodcast the Wifi hotspot without paying verizon's fee. I can't figure out how to root though.

that did not really help at all? these installation instructions are really not good for someone who is not that familiar with rooting a droid.

do you actually understand what root is and what it does to your phone?

Yes, allows the super user control. I mainly only want it to do the hotspot wifi. I wish someone would IM me on AIM or SKype and walk me through it =[

i mean the best ur gonna do is those guides. theres some over at alldroid and xda but they arent for everyone
