I have a droid x rooted running stock. When I go into root explorer and try to move or edit a file it says that the file is read only. I'm knew to using root explorer so I may be missing something but I thought the point if this app was to be able to move and edit files. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Timrock you rock. That is the easiest solution I have ever seen. Thanks for the quick response.

Then when done, click on "mount r/o". :D

    r/w = read/write
    r/o = read only
