replace droid headphone jack myself?

So since best buy mobile, motorola and verizon are all not being helpful with my droid headphone jack problems is there anyway I can replace it myself?

the real question is, are you comfortable taking apart your phone?

i would also think it would require some soldering.

i doubt it's "plug-n-play"

I am sure I could take it apart I have taken apart my xbox and other gadgets a lot, I don't mind tinkering? Like where could i buy a headphone jack I guesse and I would need a good guide preferably lol
