Add an app to the new folder.
Tap the folder so it opens
At the top of you will see FOLDER
    Long tap (press and hold)
A new screen will open and allow you to rename.
Tap the highlighted form and the keyboard will appear

You don't even need to add an app to the new folder before renaming it. Just open the folder and long press on the header of the folder and the edit box opens.

Check out the free app called apps organizer. You can make icons on your homescreen instead of the plain yellow folders.

All four icons on the bottom are from apps organizer, as well as the multimedia icon.

Those Powerstrip icons are from Home++, a free Home replacement app in the Marketplace. There are more icons in the powerstrip, they are customizable and you can scroll through the ones that aren't showing on the screen.

I have a couple folder questions. Assuming these things are possible, how do I:

    1. Use Better Cut to replace the icon for a folder? Specifically, I really like the auto-generated folder that has my Pandora stations and would rather use that than a Pandora icon/widget (if possible).

    2. Also, is it possible to have a folder of contacts that aren't in the regular contact list? For example, I have a lot of work related numbers that I would like a quick index of in a folder, instead of having them cluttering my contacts (as accessed via the phone).

    Thanks.
