For all intents and purposes the red-colored Nexus 5 seems like a "shoe-in" now. Not only do we have the above leaked pics of the device, we also have a leaked Sprint document indicating it will launch on the Google Play Store on February 4th. More than likely Sprint will offer this new device on contract, but we also have word that T-Mobile could be offering it as well. There's still a slim chance that this is all faked, so we will keep you updated when more info arrives.
The document makes it clear that Sprint customers who purchase their red Nexus 5 on the Play Store are to be given a free SIM card to make the device work on Sprint's network. It's great to see Sprint planning ahead for this a bit better than when the Nexus 5 first launched.
