Razr maxx, locked, broken screen and logic board........am I screwed to get data off?

My son has a Motorola Razr maxx. The screen is broken plus he believes the logic board is also shot. Ohhh he also has the screen locked. Is there ANY way to get the data off before replacing the phone. He has a replacement at Bestbuy waiting to get picked up. Thanks for any suggestions, greatly appreciated. Shooter

i had a similar problem - my phone broke and i sent it to a repair shop and they were able to fix the logic board by replacing damaged parts with parts from another droid (they also offered to repair the screen), but after all that effort the phone is still locked and i can't access my data. i'd also be interested in knowing how to recover data from a locked screen.
