I had an Incredible before the Droid X but returned it for the X because the call quality on the Incredible was not what I had hoped for.
Anyways, I have noticed that sometimes the Droid X just seems to freeze every now and then and requires a battery pull. Or that some system functions do not seem to work well. Here is one that I found tonight.
Go into Google Voice
Click on a SMS thread
Click on the bar to type in text (have Swype set to default)
After Swype loads up change your input method to the multitouch keyboard
Now use the speech recognition to type something and delete it
Now change your input method back to Swype
Now when you try to use speech recognition the process will freeze and FC
I have no idea if this problem is just me, if it is in Android, if it is just the Droid X, or if it is MotoBlur. Would the 2.2 update add stability for some of the problems that I have been having? Or have you guys had similar issues?
