So I'm a relatively new owner of a Droid 2 Global, and I love it for the most part. My issue with it is that my RAM gets eaten up like there's no tomorrow. I run Advanced Task Killer Free with relatively aggressive settings, and I still have only ~50-60 MB of RAM left, making my phone run unacceptably slow. Anyway, I'm 90% sure some background system process is the culprit, but I'm not sure how to find it. I've installed Autokiller, and I like what it claims to do, but it wants me to root my phone. Doesn't that break the warranty? So far I've erred on the side of caution and not rooted my phone. Advice? Thanks in advance! Anything you can tell me is very much appreciated!
