If you are having this issue as I was there is a simple and most effective solution. The problem is not with the device but with the factory installed Facebook for LG app. Instead of the cumbersome fixes that some have suggested that would take hours to complete not to mention constantly maintain simply go to your market and download the free mobile Facebook app. Not only does it fix this issue all together but the app is much better than the one provided by LG.
