From your homescreen menu>settings>applications>manage applications

Sort all>select market and click clear data.

Have you done a battery pull?

Then try this:

-Go into your app settings page > manage applications -

For the following apps: Facebook, Google Earth, GMail, Maps and Market

One at a time click on the app > then click "uninstall updates"

It doesn't give me the option to clear updates. Just says force close, uninstal, or clear data

Now you are going to have to play the waiting game... I had this happen a week ago. It will say unsuccessful for about a day, then it will let you go at it again.

There is NOT a fix for this. Even a factory reset wont get it going. Just wait.
