The plastic on the back of my Droid screen is peeling up and looks really bad because of the protective case that I bought from Verizon. What should I do about this? Should I take my phone to Verizon and bring it to their attention? What will they do when I bring it to their attention?

Thanks!! All responses are appreciated

that plastic is supposed to be removed.

its only to protect the phone while shipping.

Ohh, did not know that. I thought it was put there to give opening the hardware keyboard a little more resistance.

OK dude we get the point, no need to start 2 new threads with the exact same question. You could have searched and found at least ten threads which address your problem.

Its supposed to come off. People will say it isn't, but it is per Motorola and Verizon. Just peel it off.

My plastic has held up exceptionally well... LOL. Hope it never comes off.

youll notice once you take it off the slider will be smoother.

just an FYI after a while the slider will rip the plastic on the inside and if any of that gets stuck down ther you will need to take the phone all the way apart to get it out. If you leave the peice it will make your phone extremely hard to open or wont close all the way.

i had to do this to a friends phone a few weeks ago.
