pictures are distorted ever since OS update this month.

The pictures and camera on my Droid X2 are really distorted ever since my phones OS got updated a couple weeks ago. Is this from the update or is it something else, any ideas?

My phone took lousy quality pics last year after an update. They messed with the camera or something and it never really improved. Pics were kinda fuzzy and low quality although the resolution was never changed. They got slightly better when I started using the button on the screen to snap the picture instead of using the camera button. I just updated to the TBH version of gingerbread last week and it seems decent but I'm not totally sure.
