I have had a very strange problem with both a Droid 3 and then the Droid X I replaced it with. The phone would dial the same number over and over and over to the point where the unit had to be turned off. I re-set all the call settings on the Droid 3 to the proper and most conservative settings, but that did nothing so I did a factory data reset but the problem came right back, so I figured it was some sort of hardware problem and ditched the phone in favor of a Droid X...only to experience exactly the same problem on it. It is dialing numbers with direct dial shortcuts, so I am thinking those shortcuts are the problem and will get rid of them. But I'm wondering whether anybody else has experienced this problem, and what you tried (that hopefully worked) to correct it.
