It allows the CPU to scale higher than stock limits for increased performance and response....

No not really...it uses more processing power therefore more battery....

You can run an undervolted kernel and overclock if your phone will support it which will help with battery and still give you great phone performance gains

oh ok im on the pb&j 50 undervolted i think? how do i nkow im on a kernal? cause i forgot if i flashed the pb&j or not :D!

in SetCPU look in INFO it will say kernel LinuxVersion2.6.32.9[imnuts@virtualbox]
if your running a PB&J kernel
