Hi Everyone,
If I get an attachment that’s an .rtf file, and attempt to open it from my email, should the Android open either of the above apps to read it. It will be a pain if I have to save the file, open the app, then open the file. Thanks in advance. :p

I don't see any apps listed above, so I'm not sure what apps you're talking about, but if you download a file and then tap on it, the phone should select the proper app to handle that file type.

RTF is rich text format. Word or Google docs should open it without issue.

Once you have opened it, even if you need to save it first, it should give you an option to select an app. Say always and it should be able to open it in that app, from the mail, in the future.

Thanks everyone for your answers, you were all very helpful. By the way does anyone know if Android studio will work to unlock a Samsung S5, if the computer you are using is a Mac? :)
