Only top 1/4" of display shows

Hey all, long story short, My X was sitting on my desk, plugged in via USB to my computer at work. Came back from a meeting, only a little strip at the top of the display shows.

Tried turning off and on, battery pull, nada.

Phone was bought in 5/2010 so it's past warranty.

I suspect it needs a new LCD but just thought I'd check here.

Yeah, sounds like a hardware issue to me. But to be sure, I'd disconnect the power and battery and leave it that way for several minutes before trying to power it up again.

This happened to me a few months ago, the only fix is a new phone. When I called Verizon phones they tried to send me an Eris, I know there are people on the forum saying they are getting DX2's so maybe you could get lucky.

I realized the phone is over a year old so I'm on my own. I'm going to try replacing the LCD and if that doesn't work, it's time for a new phone.
