Odd ADW 1.3.6 issues...

I have a somewhat weird issue with the ADW launcher on my Droid X running Tranquility 3.6.0. For some reason whenever I upgrade to the 1.3.6 version of ADW, it reverts back to the 1.3.3 version after a reboot. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so was it while running the rom I'm using or some other one? Thanks in advance.

The only reason I could see why this is happening is if you are on a custom Rom and ADW is in /system/app? Well, now that I think about it... I don't see why that would cause this problem either.
