Number lock?

Does anyone know how to get the Droid to stay using numbers with the physical keyboard? It's a pain to hit 'alt' then the number over and over when inputing a long number.

That is correct.

Pressing ALT twice will put you into NUM lock mode (technically its "orange key" mode).
