Not allowing me to text.

So I don't know if this is a known bug, I couldn't find a thread. I sometimes go to reply to a text and the keyboard doesn't seem to work. I have the Droid Incredible. I thought it was my Handcent but it does it when I use the general Messaging App on the phone aswell. I noticed when I have it in landscape it shows the box as gray. I then back out, go in, back out, go in, back out, and on and on sometimes and then it allows me to text. Maybe there is something that I did wrong? Started doing it when I got my Froyo update.

I am having the same problem off & on with my incredible. I usually have to shut down & restart... any luck??
