I just rooted my DX I'm running Stock gingerbread (no custom roms yet) I installed ROM Manager and attempted to Flash ClockworkMod 5.0.0.1 . It seamed to work, but when i clicked on "Reboot into Recovery" it just reboots the phone. I've tried to boot manually into recover, I get the droid pick and the ! in the triangle but it stops there. have to pull the battery to restart it.

Where can I download a recovery that will work on the DX running Gingerbread

Have you tried un-checking USB Debugging?

Settings>applications>development>usb debugging

Same thing here. Just rooted stock Gingerbread, flashed 5.0.1.0 and can't reboot into recovery. Tried manually as well , but no luck. even tried to flash an older recovery and it just gave me an error.
