Welcome to the community great people here and there is always someone willing to help out. Feel free to ask any questions you may have in your transition. I am also a Former BB Storm 1 user and these android devices seem to run circles around BB's speed. Also feel free to make yourself at home here in the community

I'm a former BB user too. I had a Curve and numerous Storm 2's. Then I got my Vortex and I *love* it!! I agree, it runs circles around BB. My next one will be the Bionic when it comes out.

Welcome to the Forum. It is a very helpful and welcoming place to be. :)

To the OP, welcome to the forum. Glad to have you with us.

To danielturner, Droid is the licensed name Motorola uses for their "android" phones. Android is the generic term to identify the operating system. If the phone is not a Motorola Droid, then folk refer to it as an Android phone. For example...... I had a Motorola Droid 1, then I got a Motorola Droid X now I have a HTC Thunderbolt which is an android phone.

    Hope that makes sense.
