Newbie question

I'm new to the Droid world... and smartphones for that matter...

I got my X2 couple days ago and it's a great machine. The guy at Verizon put my pics over onto it from my prior phone and now I cannot find them. I assumed they'd be in the gallery, but they're not. Any help?

Also, with my old, ancient phone, I could resend texts that didn't send (for one reason or another). Can you do that with X2? Or do you have to retype the entire text?

I'm sure both of these questions are rather simple. I'm just overwhelmed by what this machine can do.

Regarding the texts, yes, you can resend them. Typically what I do is highlight the text not sent, and double press it. This will give you a prompt as to what you want to do with the text. The second issue could be that the photos are in your sd. You should.be able to go into your files icon, change the default to the card, then look to see if it in there. Otherwise, they may still be on your old phone.
