New Motor X User

I finally got my X last night. Spent most of the night letting the phone update and downloading all of my apps. I have most of it set up now. I love it so far. My only complaint is the Google search bar. I hate that thing but I'm not ready to download a home launcher just to get of it, not yet at least. How do you set up the camera shake launch? I can't find a setting for it. I do have a few apps disabled. Maybe it's in one of those?

I don't remember having to setup my phone for this. If I remember correctly, it just works by default.

Have you tries turning your phone to make it work? Are you doing it correctly?

Smart keyboard pro. It's the only I found that you can make the space bar wider in landscape mode and it has the cursor arrows.

Does the phone have Swype on it?

No it doesn't. I had it on my dinc1. It was OK. I don't miss it.
