I got my Droid X the day that the 2.2 Froyo update became available. It's my first smartphone and I've been having a great deal of fun with my new toy. Have spent a lot of time on this droid forum, researching a variety of things as a newbie, so thought it would be a good idea to register. I live in San Francisco, CA, USA.

Welcome to the forum. We have a section dedicated to the X, you should check it out. To get there hit the Forum tab at the top of the page and then scroll down until you see the Droid X section.

Thanks, all, for the welcoming emails. Thanks for confirming what I already suspected: the forum has a lot of helpful and friendly folks. BH
