Need help on SD card switching.

I have a 2GB That came with the phone. Im about too switch it out for the 4GB. Would I just copy the files from my 2GB to my 4GB?

Put the 2gb in your PC and put the files from it in a folder called stock. Take out the 2gb and put in the 4gb and open up that folder and extract the contents into the root of the 4gb. Understand?

Understood everything, except extract contents into the root of the 4gb. Is this a fancy way of saying copy?
