(using RSD tool, unroot instruction follow URL : Droid X)

And, I successfully recovery stock unroot 2.1 image. :)

then, update 2.1 froyo.
(Setting -> About Phone --> System updates)

Froyo update process successful too..dancedroid

But, reboot DX, Motorola logo contidue appeaed.
Suddenly, i heard "droi~~~~d" boot sound.

Please refer follow youtube movie.

The 2.2 SBF files have not leaked... I haven't heard any rumors saying if anyone has them, or if/when they might leak.

So for now, you're stuck getting a replacement from VZW.

I am having the same exact problems right now. Did like three battery pulls and still nothing. I can hear the phone function behind the M logo. I think I might have to SBF this thing and try again..

webcenter! I solved my problem. When doing a battery pull, let it sit for atleast a minute and then put it back in and turn your phone on! Hopefully this works for you!

oh! very thanks for your opinion dancedroid

But, i tried 10 times this pattern, half success, half failed.

(Power on --> power off(if semi bricked, pull battery and load battery --> power on)

1. Normal
2. Normal
3. Semi-bricked
4. Semi-bricked
5. Normal
6. Semi-bricked
7. Normal
8. Semi-bricked
9. Semi-bricked
10.Normal

are you perfectly active this pattern?

Yea I'm legit and good to go. I powered off and powered back on no problems.

There was a thread saying that your X might be defective to the update. I'm at work so I can't locate it for you but the OP of the thread says to take it to Verizon and they should replace it for you.

Thanks for fizik.

may be 2 choice.
one is wait a OTA 2.2 leak SBF
the other is find a vzw service center.

Thanks.:)
