I'd stay away from weatherbug elite and ATK.\ .

+1

After you are done troubleshooting. List the problematic app(s)

This will be a great thread when you figure out whats causing the issues.

WeatherBug Elite works like a champ for me. In the past before they updated it, it used to have aweful battery performance.

Can't comment on ATK as I never bothered with using 'task' apps.

I haven't really insatlled anything new in about a month.

I have:

Advan. Task Killer
Calculator
Finance
GV
gstrings - guit tuner
Missed Call
Moto torch led
NFL superfan
Not call log
pandora
Quote pro
Rehearsal assistant
Ultimate stopwatch
Volume Control
Weatherbug Elite.

I am curios as to how to backup these apps as I am close to trying a factory reset.

Or should I just exchange it?

Are you running Missed Call or Missed Reminder? I installed Missed Reminder and started having a bunch of issues. Not sure if it was directly related to the Missed Reminder app.

I installed ATK free because I wanted to see if it could help me squeeze a little bit of extra performance out of my Droid. Bad idea. Once I started using it, stuff starting FC-ing when I wasn't even doing anything, e.g. corporate calendar, android market. I uninstalled it and then my Droid went back to normal.

Another app that I really liked but always seemed laggy was App Organizer.

Once I uninstalled those two apps, I really feel like my Droid was better again.

I've been using Advanced Task Killer with no troubles since Nov 6th.I use it to kill big apps (browser, maps, pandora, etc) but all of the lightweight built in android stuff is on the ignore list. No problems there.
