my backup app

does anyone know anything about my backup? i used it once...then five days later did another backup...now i can only restore the first one i did and the second one says i didnt do a backup of that type...I am sooo upset because i lost a lot of my sms/mms messages!! anyone have any ideas on what i can do to retrieve whats in the backup files on my sd card???
