My wife was blowing my phone up, and for once I got tired of hearing, DRROOIIDD!! but I wasn't in the mood to change the ringtone, so I put the phone in silent mode. Sure enough, my wife calls; I can hear her but she can't hear me and hangs up. Figuring that there was something wrong with her phone I call her back to see if things have cleared up. She couldn't hear me again. So I rightly figured that turning on silent mode was the culprit, so I turned it off and when I called her back she could hear me.
