I hope I am posting this in the right forum.
We just had Dish Network installed in our house. The DVR recorder comes equipped with Slingplayer and I have downloaded the app onto my Motorola Droid.
The first couple times I tried to launch the app, it looked like it was seeking out my network connection ("locating living room") but then it locked up. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Now, it does a force close every time I try to choose a TV show to watch.
Is this program not compatible with my now-antiquated Motorola Droid? Something tells me it is - and I'm going to be so ticked when it is confirmed - because I have another year to go on Verizon's now non-existent "New every 2" upgrade program.
Is there another provider out there that does NOT have a monopoly on this market?
