Just two days ago we shared a report that the big camera update for the Motorola Droid series on Verizon was pushing out to more than just soak testers. Several reports indicated that folks who weren't even in the soak test where receiving it. It wasn't an official launch of the update, but we have that now. Early this morning, Google's own, Punit Soni posted on his Google+ page that the update is now rolling out officially to all of the new Droid devices including the Droid Ultra, the Maxx and the Mini. Here's a quote with his G+ post along with a source link below,

Droid users should be getting their update right now. Mostly rounds off the post launch SW update for our new devices.
Next up: Continue work on next round of updates, more SW experiences/app pushes.

Never a dull moment these days.

Sound off if you have started getting the update!

After 4 or 5 failed attempts, finally got it to stick.

Seems to work well. Focus is MUCH faster.
Does break root but Voodoo gets it back just fine.

Took a few tries this morning but the camera is much improved. Can't wait to take some photos this weekend.
